Mitchell slater
Mitchell is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who started with the Hardin Wellness Center in May of 2021. In 2020 Mitchell graduated from the University of Findlay where he completed his Bachelors of Health Science and obtained his Masters of Occupation Therapy. Mitchell splits time between the Hardin Wellness Center and Hardin Memorial Hospital. At the Wellness Center, Mitchell works with patients of all ages and abilities to promote independence through meaningful daily activities. Mitchell primarily works with orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity as well as stroke, chronic lung conditions, and general deconditioning. He is certified in use of physical agent modalities through the Physical Agent Modalities Practitioner Credentialing Agency (PAMCA). At the Hardin Memorial Hospital. Mitchell assesses independent living skills to aid in providing safe discharge planning for patients. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing as well as spending time with family and friends.
