We work on finding the root cause of your back discomfort. For example, if your lower back is stiff, the therapist will focus on easing that stiffness. If your back muscles are weak, the therapist may recommend strengthening exercises that will aid in recovering your full range of motion. At Hardin Wellness Center we have many techniques in improving your back pain quickly and effectively.
Osteoarthritis causes the cushions (cartilage) between your bones (vertebrae) to deteriorate. Similar to other joints in your body, your neck joints tend to wear down with age. Your body then forms bone spurs that affect joint motion and cause pain.
Diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, meningitis or cancer, can cause neck pain.
Herniated disks or bone spurs in the vertebrae of your neck can press on the nerves branching out from the spinal cord. Commonly referred to as a "pinched nerve". There are many reasons that individuals get nerve compression such as; repetitive motions and holding their neck in a position for long periods of time.
